Joe Arner was a construction worker.  One day after years of running his own business and trying to do things his own way he decided to let God have His way.  "I knelt down on my knees with my wife and we both dedicated our life to the Lord and committed to serving Him wherever he leads".

At that time Joe became a Literature Evangelist.  Giving bible studies and selling "The Bible Story"  books, like you see sometimes in doctor's offices, was a way of life for the next ten years.

During this time Joe was also an Associate Publishing Director in Illinois, for the "Lake Union Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists" .

Now Joe is an Ordained Minister  and serves as a Pastor for the "Illinois Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists" .  Joe first started his work as a Pastor in the Sheridan Seventh-Day Adventist Church . He also served as an the Associate Pastor for the Ottawa , Streator , and Princeton  Seventh-Day Adventist Churches. Additionaly he has served as the Pastor for the Mattoon , Stewardson  , Noble , and Fairfield  Seventh-day Adventist Churches in Illinois.

Not only are he and Tammy happily married but they also have two beautiful daughters.

Joe is presently the Pastor for the Downers Grove Seventh-day Adventist Church and Church School in Illinois. The Seventh-Day Adventist Church is probably the fastest growing protestant church in the world.  You can find out more from the "General Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists"  Official site.
